Reforming and restoring equality to America's immigration laws – arguably the most significant thing Congress will do this year – is much like the legendary Gordian knot. The goal is clear, but untangling the threads to shape a clear and fair path to the goal is murky. 
On March 21 2013, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (D-IL), along with Rep. Joe Heck (R-NV), introduced the Jobs Originating through Launching Travel (JOLT) Act, a bipartisan initiative designed to create jobs, reform outdated visa laws, and increase national security.
WASHINGTON, February 4th, 2013 – U.S. Senators Barbara A. Mikulski (D-Md.) and Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) today introduced the Visa Waiver Program Enhanced Security and Reform Act. The bipartisan bill encourages travel and tourism to the United States which creates and sustains jobs.
